ARTS & CRAFTS (5th and 6th Grades) - Primary colors

This week in the Arts & Crafts class we have been learning some things about the primary colors (RED, YELLOW and BLUE). We remembered how they mix and how the produce the secondary colors: 
  • RED + YELLOW = ORANGE
  • YELLOW + BLUE = GREEN
  • BLUE + RED = PURPLE
You can do this experiment in your house because is very easy. You only need three things: milk, soap and food coloring. Then, follow the next steps: 
  1. Pour some milk on a plate.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring to the milk (red, yellow and blue)
  3. Put some soap in the middle of the plate.
  4. Enjoy the reaction! Colors will mix in front of your eyes!
We made a lot of colorful works of art in the classrooms. These are only some examples of it:
